In a recent incident, popular podcaster and YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia faced widespread criticism for making an inappropriate remark that was deemed unacceptable by many. Thank God for that, or else we are now a society where everything under the sun is rather normalised. I wouldn’t repeat the remark here, I can’t, it's out of my scope to write anything like that. Anyway, after that so-called remark on a show run by a popular comedian, Samay Raina was aired and shared, the internet was set on fire. I casually opened my Twitter on Sunday and was taken aback by the clip which was being circulated. It looked something like this: Some people, popular in the world of the internet sitting on a panel and roasting a contestant that stood in front of them. A drive into the Himalayas

Well, the last week of December is as festive as it can get for anybody and everybody. It’s a week that calls for some year-end celebrations, get together’s and travel. I wanted to plan something for that week since eternity but my usual attitude to push every work till the last moment, made me plan absolutely nothing till almost the 20 th of December! It was on the 20 th that it struck me that we needed to book tickets to travel, and of course, we needed to book a hotel to stay. Various places within the country, including popular destinations like Goa, were packed and out of budget for us. There were two options that we were left with; 1) stay back home and crib 2) explore something that we never explored before. After a series of discussions, we came to a common conclusion to travel to Pokhara city in Nepal. Do you realize what you have or should I take it away from you first !!

After a long tug of war that was going on in my head for I guess months together, I finally submitted my resignation from my current organization. And to my surprise the moment I received a date for my relieving everything around me somewhat changed. The entire experience of my moving to a strange city all by myself, and exploring things people and possibilities hovered over me. All my experiences, happy moments and good gestures by people I met on the way made me a little emotional every day. And at my workplace as well, everyone was much more expressive, and admiring for both my work and my attitude, in short, people became a little more expressive and I became a little more receptive. If both I and my colleagues would have been the same ways while I was regular wouldn’t we have made it much more memorable!
